"Hi !, I'm Joseph G. Ogega, a graduate student and research assistant in Financial Mathematics.

 

Currently, I'm  helping out Dr. Dan Mitchell  and Prof. Andrew Odlyzko ,both affiliated to School of Mathematics, University of Minnesota,with their quantitative research in Financial markets.While supporting their work,I've delved into data collection,pre-processing and data mining Big Data.Under the guidance of Dr. Dan Mitchell, I'm developing an algorithmic trading platform on a Python interface,that executes orders to an exchange   

 

I have proficiency programming in multiple languages, though much of my work is written in either C#,Python or Matlab.

I've also explored Graphical user interface design,website design and cloud database management.

I currently sit on the board of National Society of Black Engineers-Twin Cities Professionals Chapter (NSBE-TCPC),as the Information Technology Chair."
